In general, InstallWhiz accepts returns on merchandise from select manufacturers within 30 days. However, InstallWhiz reserves the right to authorize product returns beyond 30 days from the invoice date. IF the product is accepted after 30 days, credit will be issued toward FUTURE PURCHASES ONLY. Original shipping charges are not refunded on returned items. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges back to InstallWhiz on returned items, and InstallWhiz will pay the shipping charges on the replacement or exchange item(s) going back.
Returns within 30 days from invoice date can be for exchange, replacement refund or credit at InstallWhiz`s discretion. Please be aware that specific manufacturers have more restrictive return policies.
If your return merchandise is accepted, we will post a credit to your InstallWhiz account within 24 hours from the time that we receive the product(s) in our distribution center. Each return is credited in the same manner as payment. If you paid for your order with a credit card, the credit will be applied to that card. You will be able to verify the credit by calling your credit card company. If you paid for your order with a check, a refund check will be issued within 10 business days from the date the returned product is received by InstallWhiz`s receiving department. If you have a terms account, the amount of your return will be credited to your InstallWhiz account.
Return of Products purchased hereunder, whether for stock balancing purposes or because such Products are claimed to be defective, shall be governed by InstallWhiz`s Product Return policies as set forth in InstallWhiz`s Wholesale Catalog in effect on the date of the invoice, or as otherwise provided by InstallWhiz to Buyer in writing. InstallWhiz reserves the right to modify or eliminate such policies at any time. Although InstallWhiz`s policies may permit Buyer to return Products claimed to be defective under certain circumstances, InstallWhiz makes no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to the Products. InstallWhiz HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE PRODUCTS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. InstallWhiz WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS, COST OR EXPENSE FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY. The right to return defective Products, as previously described, shall constitute InstallWhiz`s sole liability and Buyer`s exclusive remedy in connection with any claim of any kind relating to the quality, condition or performance of any Product, whether such claim is based upon principles of contract, warranty, negligence or other tort, breach of any statutory duty, principles of indemnity or contribution, the failure of any limited or exclusive remedy to achieve its essential purpose, or otherwise. In the event InstallWhiz issues a return authorization to Buyer allowing Buyer to return Product to InstallWhiz, Buyer will deliver the Product to InstallWhiz`s address in the United States, if so required by InstallWhiz, and Buyer shall bear all applicable federal, state, municipal and other government taxes (such as sales, use and similar taxes) as well as import or customs duties, license fees and similar charges, however designated or levied, on any replacement Product to be shipped by InstallWhiz to Buyer.
