The 50-pin Centronics connector is used on older peripheral devices but is also found on the oldest SCSI host cards. SCSI cables are used for high speed data communications and are manufactured with twisted pair cables and a double shield to insure signal integrity.
Designed to connect DB25 peripherals such as scanners and external storage devices to a SCSI 1 host controller.
